Aon beefs up resources team

Aon has appointed former London broker Alex Lumby as a Perth-based client director to service the resources sector within its global client division.

Mr Lumby was most recently Global Head of Natural Resources for Lloyd’s insurer Ascot, and CEO of Ascot Renewco in London.

The appointment is Mr Lumby’s second stint in Perth, having worked there for Marsh and Benfield Corporate Risks from 2004 to 2008.
