Infocus buys financial advice group Announcer

Wealth management group Infocus has bought advice business Announcer, strengthening an expanding national footprint.

Announcer, which will be co-branded as part of Infocus, has offices in Sydney and Brisbane and provides financial advice, mortgage broking and property advisory services.

It will become the Sydney link in the Infocus national salaried advice strategy, joining offices established in Melbourne, Brisbane, Maroochydore and Townsville.

Announcer founder and CEO Andrew Rocks says Infocus’ commitments to compliance and innovation are key attractions.

“We are impressed by Infocus’ governance, systems and software, including award-winning client relationship management and advice process management software Platformplus,” he said. “That will help us with substantial efficiencies in delivering our holistic advice model.”

Infocus this year expanded a partnership with H&R Block, offering wealth management services to clients of the tax and accounting group.
