Underwriting agency Coverforce rebrands

Sydney-based Coverforce Underwriting has changed its name to Quanta Insurance Group as part of an “aggressive strategy” to deliver greater value.

The move is also intended to provide clarity and distinguish the underwriting agency from its sister company, Coverforce Insurance Brokers.

The firms are subsidiaries of the same parent company, Coverforce Pty Ltd, but operate independently, with Coverforce Insurance Brokers targeting businesses and professionals and Quanta dealing exclusively with brokers.

“Coverforce Insurance Brokers is such a strong brand it was over-riding what we were trying to do,” Quanta EGM Marketing Amanda Coffey told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

“Clients wanted this, too. If a broker looked up Coverforce online they could become confused about what we were offering. That is why we created the Quanta brand.”

The agency, which specialises in professional risks, has also expanded its product offering, streamlined forms and simplified policy documents.

A dedicated claims team, new website and e-newsletter have also been established.

EGM Professional Risks Chris Bounos says the rebranding “reflects a commitment to deliver more for brokers”.

It’s the second rebrand for the underwriting agency. It was originally Crown Insurance, and was acquired by Coverforce and renamed about 15 years ago. The agency has been in business for 28 years, with continuous Lloyd’s coverholder status.
